Crawford Falconer of New Zealand, the chairman of the World Trade Organization agricultural negotiations has released eight working papers on market access. This brings the total number of papers released since November to 16. These documents will help the chairman direct the discussions on ag negotiations as members attempt to draft a revised proposal for modalities.
New WTO members Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Tonga and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia would have one year following their accession commitment in which they would not have to reduce tariffs under the released documents.
