Wireless Control For Tree Shearing

Sidney Mfg. unveils a wireless control that allows shear head to move among vehicles.

Published: Sep 28, 2009

In response to a universal machine set-up, Sidney Manufacturing Co. has introduced a wireless control so the operator can choose shearing or rotating with the Timberline Tree Shear.

This capability puts the technology in the shear rather than on the tractor or skid loader, so the attachment can be moved from machine to machine with little problem. The tree shear can now be used to fell a tree and hold it up to be cut into firewood with much less effort.

Wireless controls allow easy swap out of tree shear, and quick felling and rotating trees for cutting.
