What am I Bid?

Click here to download a sample bid sheet for input purchases.

Farmers who have multiple nearby suppliers may want to consider sending out bidding sheets to get competitive bids for your fertilizer, fuel or other input business. By asking suppliers to compete for your business on price alone you may be able to see real savings.

Note: Bidding sheets are not for everyone, especially if loyalty or other intangibles, such as timely service, factor into your decision-making. If this approach makes sense for you, customize this downloadable form with your farm contact information as you see fit, then use it to communicate with your suppliers, with specific deadlines and product needs.

Use the link below to download a Word version of the form. This should work in both Windows and Mac computers.
