Vermeer Unwraps New Bale Wrapper

SW5500 is top of the line for Vermeer's bale wrappers this year with nearly-automatic features throughout.

The new SW5500 bale wrapper from Vermeer features a pickup system, a large turntable and pre-stretched film supply and a bale discharge system to put the bale on the ground ready  for storage.

In addition, Vermeer is offering an SW5000 that is a "semi-automatic" version of the 5500,  and the SW2500 which is designed for more "static" bale-wrapping operations.

The trio of machines were made to help forage producers turn high-moisture bales into individually-wrapped high-nutrition packages of palatable high-protein forages.  The ability to bale higher-moisture forage gives growers more flexibility to pick the "right maturity" for their needs.

New Vermeer SW5500 bale wrapper makes protecting forage nutrients a snap with drive-up, wrap-it, and set it in the field capability.
