Custom watering, crop protection and fertilizer application are much easier for irrigators with Valley Irrigations new VRI zone irrigation product.

Based on patented technology that began in Australia the Farmscan VRI product allows producers to precision irrigate zones in their fields that may differ due to soil type, ponds, or changes in crops. Zones can be defined as anything from individual sprinklers, groups of sprinklers, half spans to full spans. VRI is currently available for center pivots only.

Valley says the low-pressure sprinklers in VRI save pumping costs even more when they are spaced properly through a computer model that allows for proper overlap and positioning.

Valley Irrigations new variable rate irrigation technology allows spoon-feeding crops with pivot speed and on-off nozzle control for total circle custom watering.
