Try On-The-Saw Sharpening

If you're tired of the hassle of "chain sharpening downtime" with your chainsaw, Blount International has a new proprietary chain and sharpening system that allows you to touch up the chain within seconds -- while the chain is on the saw!

The new PowerSharp system on Blount's Oregon brand will be available in the U.S. and Europe in the next few months and will be distributed through hardware and home improvement stores. The system comes in a variety of configurations that will fit most saws on the market as well as models already in use.

The key to PowerSharp is a "top sharpening" design cutter and a bar-mount sharpener that allows the operator to sharpen the chain with a few seconds of run time against specially designed sharpening stones.
