Lindsay's FieldNET Mobile allows any web-enabled device to send cues to irrigation systems.

Lindsay Corporation, maker of Zimmatic irrigation systems extended the reach of its LGrowSmart technology this year with the addition of FieldNET mobile, a web-enabled interface allowing center pivot sprinkler control from I-pads, cell phones etc.
Reece Andrews, GrowSmart product manager, says growers now can fully monitor irrigation pivots through smart phones and other popular devices. Andrews says one Kansas irrigator is using the system to control a dozen pivots on 1,600 acres of corn, soybeans and alfalfa.
FieldNet Mobile is compatible with iPhone, Blackberry, and Android technology.
Mobile users can view the current status of all their pivots in one list, receive system alerts, arrange pivots by predefined groups, view water use reports and receive a history of pivot runtimes.
