In conjunction with the General Services Administration Expo, USDA is holding the first BioPreferred Biobased Product Showcase and Training. The event will take place in Aneheim, Calif. from April 21-24, 2008.
USDA is trying to implement the BioPreferred Program, which was created by the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002. The program is designed to increase the use of biobased products by federal agencies. USDA will have space for vendors to show biobased products, answer questions and learn how to sell to the Federal government.
