Search Committee Formed to Find New NCBA CEO

Association wants leader in place by end of year.
Compiled by staff
Published: Oct 23, 2008

Terry Stokes resigned as the National Cattlemen's Beef Association Chief Executive Officer on Sept. 25, 2008 effective Jan. 21, 2009. Applications are being accepted, the job description is posted on www.BeefUSA.org, and qualified candidates must submit their resume by Nov. 15, 2008 to Nancy Rudzek, Executive Director-Human Resources, NCBA, 9110 East Nichols Ave. Suite 300, Centennial, Colo., 80112.

A diverse group of cattle producers and state executives from cattle associations and state beef councils has been assembled by NCBA officers to serve as the search committee. After reviewing resumes and screening candidates the committee will recommend two to four candidates for final selection by the NCBA officers.

"I want to thank these industry leaders for serving in this very important role," said Andy Groseta, NCBA president. "The CEO of NCBA provides the overall vision and leadership to the industry's one plan — one budget — one voice strategy. It is our aim to have a candidate in place by the beginning of 2009."
