Secretary of Agriculture Ed Schafer and Secretary of Energy Sam Bodman sent a letter to Senate Energy and Natural Resources Chairman Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., on Wednesday asking him to carefully consider food and fuel pricing issues and cautioning him against hasty judgments driven by highly questionable, agenda-driven calculations, some of which have been featured prominently in the popular press.
