Ambassador Crawford Falconer of New Zealand, the agriculture chairman of the Doha Round of World Trade Organization global trade talks, will present a revised text of draft modalities for agriculture negotiations either Wednesday or Thursday this week.
Falconer says once presented, what happens is up to member nations who will review the most recent revisions and make recommendations to their representatives before a meeting of ministers starting on July 21.
"That's kind of up to you and up to the reaction to the document to see where we go from there," Falconer told member nations. "Obviously it's only going to be a week or 10 days before ministers arrive."
According to Falconer the revised text will be formatted in such a way to present member nations with simpler options for political decisions connected with Doha.
