President Obama will be in Missouri later this week to sell health care reform. Monday, the President told a crowd of college students in Pennsylvania that rising premiums and lost coverage are the imperatives driving his reform efforts. Obama said every year insurance companies deny more people coverage because they have preexisting conditions. He also quoted an insurance broker who said the insurance companies will continue to raise premiums, despite losing customers who can't afford their prices.
The President wants Congress to vote on health care reform by next Tuesday, before it goes on its two-week Easter Recess.
