Porter-Cable Adopts Lithium Batteries

12 Volt MAX line is compact, tough, and long-lasting in the power department.

Porter-Cable has unveiled a four-tool lineup in its 12 Volt MAX offerings aimed at meeting light to medium-duty applications of professionals and homeowners alike.

The new family of tools includes a 3/8-inch drill/driver kit; a 1/4-inch impact driver kit; a compact Clampsaw kit, and a two-tool kit that includes both the impact driver and the drill driver.

The tools will be available in October, and feature advanced lithium batteries that hold charges for extended periods, and can be recharged within 30 minutes for reduced downtime.
