NAWG to Join 2007 Commodity Classic
National Association of Wheat Growers plans to join in Commodity Classic festivities in 2007.

Corn, soybean and now wheat will be represented at next year's Commodity Classic with the addition of the National Association of Wheat Growers to the attendees. NAWG will join the National Corn Growers Association and American Soybean Association at the 2007 Commodity Classic.
Commodity Classic, presently going on in Anaheim, Calif., currently features corn and soybean seminars about production, marketing, management and agricultural issues. It also features hundreds of booths highlighting a wide variety of equipment, products and services that are important to farmers.
Dale Schuler, president of NAWG says the partnership will benefit all three organizations with the many interests in common between the commodities including farm policy, trade and renewable energy.
"Joining Commodity Classic will also allow us to reach out to growers who may be in a state that doesn't have a formal state association but who raise wheat in rotation," Schuler says.
NAWG has 25,000 members in 19 states.
