Join the Ag Week Celebration

For the national consumer this is 'your' week - and a chance to tell the world about the U.S. ag market.

With warmer weather ahead and spring planting about to begin in earnest, this is the time of the year to celebrate agriculture. National Ag Week is this week running from Sunday through Saturday - with National Ag Day set for Friday, March 20.

This annual event aims to put a national spotlight on the nation's food producers, highlighting the productivity, efficiency and safety of the U.S. ag industry. The week is hosted by the Agriculture Council of America, which provides national promotional support for the program. The aim is to encourage every American to:

  • Understand how food and fiber products are produced.
  • Value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy.
  • Appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products.

If there are Ag Day events in your area, consider attending and helping to tell the story of agriculture for your area. You can learn more at AgDay.org.
