Published: Feb 21, 2011

Responding to calls for a tougher knife for fertilizer application, Yetter Mfg. Co., has beefed up it's 3000-200/201 spring-loaded dry side knife and the 3000-206/207 spring-loaded liqauid side knife with a hard-facing application of tungsten carbide.

Yetter officials say growers using the hard-faced Viper II will find it yields better performance and life expectancy. The ground-engaged knife runs at an operating depth of 1 to 3.5 inches.
