Farm Futures Senior Editor Bryce Knorr will speak to The Chicago Farmers January 10. Knorr offers his insights on the markets for 2005 at the luncheon meeting, at the University of Illinois Alumni Club Orange and Blue room, 200 South Wacker Drive, behind the Sears Tower.
With more than 17 years experience in the grain markets as a writer, analyst and broker, Knorr writes a strategy column for Farm Futures, and also covers marketing and management issues. A registered commodity broker, Knorr continues to work with farmers, which gives him a real-world look into the risk management issues confronting today's producers.
Originally joining Farm Futures in 1987, he became well known for his survey research into a variety of management topics, including secrets of success, innovation, Internet usage, precision farming, family farming, ethics in agriculture. Attitudes towards land, risk management, and marketing practices. These surveys have been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, time Magazine, CBS News, and numerous publications and media. Knorr also testified before Congress on risk management issues.
