Keeping up with the fast changes facing agriculture these days might be a little easier for more than 170 farmers attending the Farm Futures Management Summit "Winning in Turbulent Times." The event - sponsored by Agrigold and the United Soybean Board - has pulled together a leading group of speakers to tackle a wide range of issues from the future of the farm bill to land prices to managing like a CEO.

Dr. David Kohl started out the presentations with his "View from 10,000 Feet" to give farmers a look at the megatrends reshaping agriculture. The program continues through Thursday afternoon.

The crowd attending the Farm Futures Management Summit heard from Dr. David Kohl who gave a good overview of the issues to be covered by the two-day event.

Included in this year's event will be marketing discussions with Senior Editor Bryce Knorr and Market Analyst Arlan Suderman. Other speakers include Dr. Mike Boehlje, ag economist, Purdue University; Danny Klinefelter, extension economist, Texas A&M University - who heads up that school's TEPAP program; Kevin Dhuyvetter, Kansas State University, ag economist; Jay Penick, president, Northwest Farm Credit Services.
