Experience the 'Bounty on the Bay'

2007 Commodity Classic hosts National Corn Growers Association, American Soybean Association and National Wheat Growers March 1-3 in Tampa, Fl.

Plans have set sail for "Bounty on the Bay," which, for the first time, organizations representing the nation's top three crops will share a single platform, and corn, soybean and wheat producers will address opportunities and issues of importance to agriculture.

The 2007 Commodity Classic poster, unveiled last week, announces "Bounty on the Bay," scheduled for March 1-3 in Tampa, Fla.

The highly stylized artwork of a soybean and an ear of corn has a new look to celebrate the addition of the National Association of Wheat Growers to the annual trade show and convention of the American Soybean Association and the National Corn Growers Association.

"ASA and NCGA welcome the National Association of Wheat Growers to Commodity Classic," says ASA President Bob Metz. "Altogether, our three organizations represent more than 80 percent of the U.S. crop area planted each year."

NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson adds, "For more than 10 years, the roll out of the Commodity Classic poster has been the kick off to plans for a great event. The addition of NAWG to Commodity Classic takes this premier event to the next level by broadening the scope and appeal of the trade show and convention for exhibitors, media and our event sponsors."

Landlubbers and salty dogs alike will benefit from all Commodity Classic has to offer, including hundreds of trade show booths, a lively General Session, great family entertainment and targeted learning sessions.

"We are so excited to join corn and soy at Commodity Classic," says Dale Schuler, NAWG president. "This is a great opportunity for wheat growers and our organization." Producers can expect to receive updates in association publications over the coming months.
