Arlan Suderman discusses the markets with Pam Jahnke on The Wisconsin Farm Report. USDA released its June 30 estimated planted acreage on Thursday and according to Arlan so many of the numbers were way out in left field that it was very difficult to figure out where some of the numbers came from. He says a lot of things just don't add up in the report and though USDA is resurveying Montana, Minnesota and the Dakotas, he questions why Ohio and Indiana aren't being surveyed. Pam has been named "Friend of Agriculture" by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture for her assistance in raising awareness of the "Harvest of Hope" program.
