New skid-steer and compact track loaders premier.

Published: Sep 18, 2009
The New Bobcat M-Series skid-steer and compact track loaders offer a new design and a new family of loaders.

The first of the series are the S630 skid-steer and the T630 compact track loader, an S650 and T650 came out in August and other models are expected in the near future.

The S630 skid-steer is rated at 2,180 lbs. capacity and weighs 7,707 lbs., while the T620 track loader has a rating of 2,230 lbs. and a curb weight of 9,015 lbs. The S650 will lift 2,690 lbs. with its 8,327-lb. heft, and the T650 can load 2,570 lbs. and weighs 9,440 lbs.

Hydraulics on the M Series has been engineered for higher standard flows and pressure to make attachments work harder and quicker. Hydraulic horsepower has been boosted 15% and the standard auxiliary hydraulic flow is now 23 gallons per minute at 3,500 pounds per square inch and an optional high flow of 30.5 gpm.

A new removable hydraulic hose guide also makes changing attachments easier and correctly routes the hoses to prevent chafing and wear.

The M Series also boasts better operator visibility and redesigned body parts to make maneuverability more efficient. The cooling system, too, has been redesigned for more capacity and heat rejection.

And, for more operator comfort, the hydraulic joystick controls move up and down with the seat adjustment and can be adjusted forward or back for additional operator ease of use.

NEW M-SERIES: Bobcat's new M-Series skid-steers and track loaders offer many amenities and additional work capacity.
