Bobcat Introduces Two New Bigger Loaders

The S850 skid-steer and the T870 compact track loader join long line of workhorses.

A pair of new loaders are on the market at Bobcat, including the new S850 skid steer and the T870 compact track models, which become the largest in the company's lineup.

The S850 is a 92 horsepower diesel skid-steer rated at 3,875 lbs. operating capacity, 17% greater than the S330 which was Bobcat's largest skid-steer loader at the time. The S850 has an operating weight of 10,008 lbs. and offers an industry-leading lift of 144 inches.

The S850 has the same hydraulics as other M-Series loaders with 23 gallons per minute flow at 3,500 psi. An optional high-flow feature allows 37 gpm for maximum performance.

The T870 compact track loader is powered with a 99.2 hp. diesel engine and is rated at 3,325 lbs. operating capacity, up 7% from the T320. The T870 weighs 12,678 lbs and, like the S850 shares the same hydraulics as other M-Series loaders.

Both new Bobcats sport keyless start capability, a new full-color, five-inch LCD instrument screen, and easy-to-read virtual sweep gauges.

The new machines also feature improved operator visibility and a 60% reduction in noise at the operator's seat.
