Avian flu, or rather the H5N1 strain of the disease which is moving through flocks in many European and Asian countries is a growing concern for the United States. However officials including Ag Secretary Mike Johanns, outgoing Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton and Secretary of Health and Human Services talked about a readiness plan that operates on many fronts.
