Ammonia prices are starting the month lower at the Gulf, the latest signal International fertilizer markets are trying to make seasonal bottoms as farmer demand wanes.
Anhydrous is trading around $163.25 a ton, down almost $27 in the latest week, reaching its lowest level since prices began rising in January after their historic fall collapse. Current international prices suggest a fair farmgate value of $360 to $385 a ton, according to the Farm Futures forecasting model.
