H1N1 cases have now been found in all 50 U.S. states. U.S. officials said on Monday that tests have confirmed the virus in more than 10,000 people across the country with 17 deaths definitively linked to the virus. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the tests represent about one in 20 of the actual number of infections, bringing the total number of cases in the U.S. to approximately 200,000.

The virus has been diagnosed in more than 17,000 people in 64 countries and has caused 115 deaths according to the World Health Organization. It was just found this week in Bulgaria, Vietnam and Jamaica. H1N1 appears mild and spreads easily affecting mostly older children and young adults. According to Reuters, experts worry it could change into a more dangerous form.
