The riff over the Administration's stance on the tariff on Brazilian ethanol may have come to an end. In a statement, the Obama administration says it has no plans to change the current policy. The policy came into question when Thomas Shannon, the President's nominee for Ambassador to Brazil, called removal of the tariff beneficial. The Obama Administration says it is committed to developing our domestic biofuels industry and to help the international market for biofuels grow.
