The Buzz: Farmers Rethinking Push To More Corn

Survey shows potential change in planting intentions.

Farmers may not plant as much corn as expected, due to weak prices and squeezed margins, according to the latest Farm Futures survey of 2010 planting intentions. And low tests weights could result in increased usage of the 2009 crop. Farm Futures Senior Editor Bryce Knorr and Market Analyst Arlan Suderman discuss results of our latest survey.
