Miller Electric's New Combination Welder is Light, Versatile

The combination welder market is getting crowded with manufacturers and models, the latest of which is Miller's Multimatic 200, a 3-in-1 machine capable of 150 amps output in MIG, TIG or Stick modes.

The new Auto-Set Elite feature allows operators to quickly set weld parameters to match each welding job. Auto-Set Elite asks for the welding process, wire/rod/tungsten diameter, material thickness and then sets the machine for the application. The operator can then fine-tune the settings for the individual job at hand. Also, there's an advanced LCD interface that prompts the operator to select the proper polarity and gas mix for the process, and uses language descriptions rather than numerical codes to display alerts on the machine.

Millers latest entry into the 3-in-1 portable welder catetory is the Multimatic 200, a 29-pound package that runs on 120 VAC or 230 VAC through a multivoltage plug.

Miller's latest entry into the 3-in-1 portable welder catetory is the Multimatic 200, a 29-pound package that runs on 120 VAC or 230 VAC through a multivoltage plug.
The Multimatic 200 weighs 29 pounds and connects to common 120- and 230 VAC power receptacles with the Miller-exclusive MVP multi-voltage plug.

Designed for use in light fabrication, maintenance and repair, farm/ranch applications, HVAC and construction, the 200 has a durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate case that protects the machine from harsh worksite elements. Similar to the Millermatic Passport Plus, the machine offers positive arc starts and a stable arc with minimum splatter when MIG welding -- with mixed gases and straight CO2. Stick and TIG performance matches that of the Miller Maxstar 150.

The Multimatic 200 is compatible with the TIG Contractor Kit and the Spoolmate 100 Series spool gun for MIG welding aluminum.

The Multimatic 200 is covered by the Miller True Blue 3-year warranty.
