As 2013 winds down, it's time to look ahead to the big winter meetings ahead. A key meeting for many crop producers is the Commodity Classic where corn, soybean, wheat and sorghum producers gather to learn new technology, share ideas and set policy agendas for the coming season.

A key part of the event is Learning Center Sessions where hot topics abound. Rob Elliott, Commodity Classic co-chairman, notes: "Commodity Classic Learning Centers are the place to experience a first-hand look at the latest in new agriculture technology and information. It's a chance to hear from others in the ag industry from around the U.S. and share ideas and best practices."

Here's a sampling of some learning center topics:

SAN ANTONIO BOUND: Commodity Classic is heading to Texas in late February, with plenty of information for growers.

That's just a sampling, and the Learning Centers will wrap up with Jolene Brown, Iowa grain farmer and professional speaker, who will discuss leadership, family businesses and overcoming challenges.
