The Buzz: Smaller Crops, Higher Prices

Futures prices worked lower in the wake of USDA’s August crop reports, but that may not be sending the right signals to the market. Not only are small crops likely to get smaller in subsequent reports. But prices may not be high enough yet to discourage demand.
