The Buzz: Is The Rally Over?

Forecasts for rain stall advance, but higher prices may be needed to ration demand.
Bryce Knorr
Published: Jul 26, 2012

After making new all-time highs last week, futures prices mostly eroded this week. Signs of weakening demand for corn suggest rationing, but cuts so far are minimal. That means higher prices are possible. Demand for soybeans is also very strong, though the wheat market may have to wait until 2013 for its turn in the spotlight. Farm Futures Senior Editor Bryce Knorr and Market Analyst Arlan Suderman go over the outlook - and what you should do about it.
